Knowing when to say YES and when to say NO is not only essential to the Richard Branson’s and Warren Buffet’s of the world, but is HUGELY important for each and every one of us.
In this episode of The Happiness Class we not only look out how best to make the decisions for a YES or NO, but I talk about ‘why’ we might have a challenge saying ‘No’ and what to do about this.
In my experience, as much fun as the movie ‘Yes Man’ with Jim Carrey is, it is often the things we don’t say ‘No’ too, that have the biggest impact on our lives. That is because for most of us, it is easier to say yes than to say no, especially to the personal stuff. We are more worried of upsetting the other person than protecting our precious time on this planet.
So this Happiness Class is a must for us all.
I hope you listen, understand the impact, and then APPLY it, as it will change the quality of your life.

In this Happiness Class I will tell you about a shameful and humiliating event that happened to me 28 years ago, that has affected me in subtle ways ever since. Not only that – but what limiting belief I associated with the event that has been a thorn in my side every since.
I will also share with you how I dealt with that event (with a series of techniques) that made me feel as if the world bent itself around me. It is like a fear I have carried for years, and have had to work hard on, has just disappeared. I feel like a new me.
The event I share happened to me in the first year I was in the Army at Australian Defence Force Academy. It might come as a bit of a shock to all the guys I know from my service days to hear about the impact this event had on me, as I always maintained a brave face. Plus I believe I have been quite successful, regardless.
So if you want to hear Carl Massy as his most open and most vulnerable self, then you are going to want to hear this.
I will also be sharing with you the book I read, and the process I used to make such a life-changing shift.
The book was ‘Code to Joy’ by Dr Pratt, Dr Lambrou & Dr Mann.
Now as with every book (mine included), the real magic doesn’t come from reading a book, it comes from taking action on the information.
I hope you enjoy seeing me bare my soul.

Have an awesome day
Talking about relationships can be a challenge when you are talking about the good stuff.
Even harder when you are talking about when relationships come to an end, or the love dries up. In the last few weeks (and over the last few years) I have worked with a number of individuals and couples that are having relationship challenges, or are trying to work their way out of one, and want to get out the other side in one piece, plus in a much better space. The possibility is always there to learn and grow, but it does take some work and often it is bumpy ride to get there.
So in today”s Happiness Class, which is not the happiest subject, I talk about my experience with coaching people through separation and prospering on the other side of it. If you have any questions about it, or any other topic, I am always really grateful to hear from you.

When was the last time you felt overwhelmed?
Chances are it was not that long ago – and it might even be you are experiencing a bit of overwhelm right now. And when overwhelm is left unchecked, it can often manifest into something a lot more detrimental.
So in this session of The Happiness Class, I go into a very practical process and strategy on how to deal with overwhelm. I share a process that I use with my Coaching clients when they are feeling overwhelmed. And if you are in overwhelm right now, I can assure you that after following the steps I outline that you will be in a whole new place of well-being.
As always, if you have any questions for me, or want me to address a particular topic or a specific challenge you might be faced with, then head over to my website (http://carlmassy.com) or Facebook Page via the website. I would love to help out any way I can.
I appreciate your support and feel free to direct any friends and family to the Happiness Class where they can get weekly coaching tips, techniques and insights, to better serve their lives and attainment of that ‘next level’ on their journey to their best self.
Have an awesome day!
How many times have you hesitated or stepped back from the fullest expression of yourself because you bought into someone else’s story of what is (or isn’t) possible?
I know I have. And it ‘almost’ happened recently until I shook their fears off and decided to show up as myself.
In this Happiness Class I share with you what I learned recently when I opened myself to other peoples fears. How I came out the other side. The distinctions I made and the (amazing) results I got.
If you want to be your best, you might need to listen to this.
Have a great one!
In this Coaching session with Carl Massy (me) I address the issue of what often holds us back from achieving the things that we most desire.
I recently worked with a client, who like many of us, really wanted something but some unknown fear was holding her back. In this Happiness Class I suggest what that fear is in most cases and what to do about it – so you get to achieve your biggest dreams and desires.
I also suggest that if you don’t overcome this fear (using strategies I suggest) you will end up living a life of regret.
So what are you waiting for. Dive in and learn how to take you life to the next level!
