Soul Mates, Pedestals and Neediness

I was going to talk about Decision Making Mastery, today, in alignment with my new book, but instead while I was meditating, the thought came to mind about ‘Soul Mates’ and I felt compelled to dive into that topic.

I also looked at it from the perspective of pedestals.

Self Coaching: Using the Past as a Springboard to Thrive

Today’s podcast is a self coaching technique, which includes some topics I have talked about in the past, in order to thrive in life.

Too often we have a ‘bad’ experience – relationship breakdown, professional set-backs, failed business or project, an accident or illness – and we try and leave the scene of the incident as quickly as possible because of our discomfort from it.

Too often we don’t take all the potential lessons from that experience in order to ‘learn and grow’.

So today I am encouraging you again, to take the time to look at and review past experiences, with a sense of curiosity and see what you can learn from them, so they are not only a stepping stone to your next level of success, but they are actually a springboard, catapulting you into an even higher level of success.

It is Time to Shine More Brightly

Acceptance is A Miracle Cure

lotusOf late I have had a number of clients struggling with ‘difficult people’; which is something we can all relate to I am sure.

What I was aware of each time with them was that they were fighting with the REALITY of what this other person was showing up with. And as Byron Katie says, “When I argue with reality I lose, but only 100% of the time.”

So step one for dealing with other people is to ‘accept’ that they are who they are and have probably been showing up the same way for the entire time you have known them. You are not accepting their ‘behaviour’, you are accepting that they are who they are and act a most probable way. Then you can do something about it – which I will share with you in my usual VERY PRACTICAL Happiness Class.

So pull up a seat and tune into The Happiness Class to learn how to use this miracle cure called ‘Acceptance’. I guarantee what I share with you in this Class can completely change the (challenging) relationships in your life.

Relationship Coaching: Dealing with Separation

heart breakTalking about relationships can be a challenge when you are talking about the good stuff.

Even harder when you are talking about when relationships come to an end, or the love dries up. In the last few weeks (and over the last few years) I have worked with a number of individuals and couples that are having relationship challenges, or are trying to work their way out of one, and want to get out the other side in one piece, plus in a much better space. The possibility is always there to learn and grow, but it does take some work and often it is bumpy ride to get there.

So in today”s Happiness Class, which is not the happiest subject, I talk about my experience with coaching people through separation and prospering on the other side of it. If you have any questions about it, or any other topic, I am always really grateful to hear from you.

Getting from Loneliness to Deep Connection in 30 Seconds

aloneAre we more or less connected these days? That is a very valid and pertinent question to be asking these days. If the technology of Facebook and Twitter and WhatsApp, etc. has increased the level of connection we have with people, do we feel more ‘connected’?

This the question I address in this Happiness Class and I also consider the idea of loneliness – which I consider through my observation to be quite prevalent in this apparently very connected wotld.

I will share with you a remarkably simple technique I have been using of late to increase the level of connection I feel in the moment and which tends to have a lingering impact.
