I start off the podcast being a little non politically correct and tell you what I really think about the elephant in the room, which has disrupted a lot of peoples power (in my observation).
I talk about the ‘problem’ as I see it, and then ways we can work to build up our personal power, which is needed more than ever in this crazy, unstable world we live in.

2020. What a year.
Here is a question for you? Did you observe any really bad decision-making over 2020?
I am sure you have your hand up (as well).
Given that I spent 2020 writing my 5th book, specifically focused on Decision-Making Mastery, I got to understand at an even deeper level the role and asscoiation with Critical Thinking, which is a key component to making awesome decisions.
I found that there was one key component that was often missed, which is a component that adds a high level of quality to the outcomes from decision-making.
It is a component that is not only missed – most often – but is like a muscle we don’t work out enough. Without this muscle, we will never be at our best when it comes to making high impact quality decisions.

I start off this podcast talking about why I think reading (in particular Non-Fiction) books is a superpower, when it comes to seeing the bigger picture.
It also allows for greater creative insights, and also being able to detect and deflect BS. It is much harder for someone to BS their was through a book that takes 8hrs to read.
I am also asked often about my favourite books. One of the best a simple but highly impactful book called The Four Agreements by Don Migual Ruiz (on Toltec wisdom).
If you committed to these 4 agreements, your like is likely yo take a dramatic shift for the good. That is, less stress and more joy.

I was recently doing a little getaway in Bali, and went to a gorgeous green abundant area called Sideman. I wanted to connect with the abundant plant-life, the sun, the silence and the beautiful sacred air I got to breathe.
While I was there I was inspired to record this podcast to remind us about our sacred relationship with this planet and what I refer to as mother nature.
And to start reestablishing our relationship with nature as not something to fear, to hide from, or mask ourselves from, but to something that is there to help us thrive (just like all the other species on the planet).
Life is for you. And life is for me. And it provides all of the building blocks to keep us happy, healthy and vital. Breathe deeply of this sacred breath.

When we do the inner work it changes our perception and interrelationship with the outside world and everything in it. If we see through a different lens of perception, we see a different worldview. One that causes us to feel awe, wonder, and love for life.
Today’s guided meditation is a bit over 20 mins long, and is focused on relaxing and releasing anything and everything that no longer serves you.
You will feel lighter and brighter after this meditation, but don’t take my work for it, see for yourself.

If you are into yoga, you have most likely heard of one of the masters in the yoga space called Paramahansa Yogananda. He was one of the key people responsible for bringing yoga to the ‘west’.
He was a master in the art and science of yoga, meditation and mindfulness, but still made the observation that the environment is stringer than the will.
Essentially your environment has more of an influence than your willpower on what you do or don’t do. The environment definitely affects your behaviours.
I am a big fan of using this principle to enhance my ability to do a consistent morning routine, which I will share with you in this podcast.
I will also share with you the limitations of an over dependence on willpower and why it is not the best fuel of choice.

The problem is that most people don’t know about the power that resides within their hands and within their reach.

When you master this, you may well have mastered life. You have certainly got a much better ability to influence your emotions and their physiological impacts.
