Recently I headed across to Singapore (from Bali) to attend a Tony Robbins seminar called Total Success.
The last time I had attended one of his events it was back in 2007 – so I was keen to check out what he had to say, and to be reminded of a bunch of things I already knew, but was not applying as effectively as possible.
So I have taken the Top 5 Tips and insights that stood out for me over the two days and am sharing them here with you, plus a bit of my spin and experience with them.
My favourite is that Success is 80% Psychology and 20% Mechanics. I love that! So true! And I tell you why, and what to do with this golden nugget.
So tune in to hear what one of the best success Coaches on the planet has to say about getting ahead or to the next level.
As always, if you have any questions for me, make sure you ask. Just duck across to http://carlmassy.com and drop me a message. I would love to hear from you.
Have an awesome day!!
I have had a number of clients of late, doing one of my coaching programs (the 30-Day Happiness Challenge), that have told me that they want to have more confidence.
Since I am a lover of thinking, I decided to direct my attention to figuring out more about confidence. What is confidence? Where does it come from? Is there something or anything that precedes it? Do you have it or not? Are you born with it or can it be taught?
So this weeks Happiness Class is all about understanding more about Confidence and what are the conditions that will create more Confidence for yourself. And what are your Beliefs; when it comes to Confidence.
You are going to love what I have found. Because there is hope for us all. Regardless of how we came into this world. You will also learn a four-letter word that is essential for successfully gaining more confidence.
So here’s to building up our Confidence!
Have a great day.
PS: As always if you want to ask we questions just head over to my Facebook Page or jump on carlmassy.com to ask me more.
This weeks Happiness Class was inspired by a number of Coaching clients who were trying so hard to keep it together. And in my opinion, maybe too hard. So I let them know that it is totally ok to melt down on the odd occasion. This is a great way to release and let go of ‘stuff’ that you may have built up in your mind and body.
Once you release, and get rid of the old (or the past), you open yourself up to new experiences, thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Given my focus on practical tips, tools and strategies, I also talk about specific ways to get yourself back up on your feet after this meltdown. And for starters, you don’t have to do it or figure it all out yourself.
So I hope you get some great insights or tools out of this weeks Happiness Class and remember if you have any questions or comments for me, head over to my Facebook Page, or my website at: http://carlmassy.com to connect or get some cool freebies.
Have an awesome day too.
We all know about good habits and bad habits and how they can take us forward or backwards, but knowing is not enough. The real question is “how can I create a powerful habit?”
So that is the topic of this weeks Happiness Class. A look at what it means to create habits and how best is it to do so. Inspired by a bunch of previous work, plus recently reading a book called ‘Superhuman by Habit’.
Also having recently returned from 2 weeks back in Australia (since I now live in Bali), I was reminded of the value of catching up with friends that you haven’t seen or spoken with in a long time. It feels SO GOOD to do it. I caught up with people I had not seen in 20+ years and it was great. So I challenge you to do a bit of that yourself. It will make you and keep you Happy for ages.
My apologies for 2 weeks of no Happiness Classes while I was back in Australia, bit now I AM BACK. (Actually Schwarzenegger was recently in Oz ;-))
Have a fantastic day and please ask me any questions you have, on my Facebook Page or at http://carlmassy.com.
In this Happiness Class I will tell you about a shameful and humiliating event that happened to me 28 years ago, that has affected me in subtle ways ever since. Not only that – but what limiting belief I associated with the event that has been a thorn in my side every since.
I will also share with you how I dealt with that event (with a series of techniques) that made me feel as if the world bent itself around me. It is like a fear I have carried for years, and have had to work hard on, has just disappeared. I feel like a new me.
The event I share happened to me in the first year I was in the Army at Australian Defence Force Academy. It might come as a bit of a shock to all the guys I know from my service days to hear about the impact this event had on me, as I always maintained a brave face. Plus I believe I have been quite successful, regardless.
So if you want to hear Carl Massy as his most open and most vulnerable self, then you are going to want to hear this.
I will also be sharing with you the book I read, and the process I used to make such a life-changing shift.
The book was ‘Code to Joy’ by Dr Pratt, Dr Lambrou & Dr Mann.
Now as with every book (mine included), the real magic doesn’t come from reading a book, it comes from taking action on the information.
I hope you enjoy seeing me bare my soul.

Have an awesome day
Talking about relationships can be a challenge when you are talking about the good stuff.
Even harder when you are talking about when relationships come to an end, or the love dries up. In the last few weeks (and over the last few years) I have worked with a number of individuals and couples that are having relationship challenges, or are trying to work their way out of one, and want to get out the other side in one piece, plus in a much better space. The possibility is always there to learn and grow, but it does take some work and often it is bumpy ride to get there.
So in today”s Happiness Class, which is not the happiest subject, I talk about my experience with coaching people through separation and prospering on the other side of it. If you have any questions about it, or any other topic, I am always really grateful to hear from you.
Just head over to carlmassy.com to connect with me via and email of via the Facebook Link.
Have a great day and know that none of us are alone, or need to figure things out on our own. Ask for help if you need it. You might be surprised by how many people want to help.
PS: Please tell other people to check out The Happiness Class if they are after tips, tools and strategies to create more happiness, health and success in their lives.
When was the last time you felt overwhelmed?
Chances are it was not that long ago – and it might even be you are experiencing a bit of overwhelm right now. And when overwhelm is left unchecked, it can often manifest into something a lot more detrimental.
So in this session of The Happiness Class, I go into a very practical process and strategy on how to deal with overwhelm. I share a process that I use with my Coaching clients when they are feeling overwhelmed. And if you are in overwhelm right now, I can assure you that after following the steps I outline that you will be in a whole new place of well-being.
As always, if you have any questions for me, or want me to address a particular topic or a specific challenge you might be faced with, then head over to my website (http://carlmassy.com) or Facebook Page via the website. I would love to help out any way I can.
I appreciate your support and feel free to direct any friends and family to the Happiness Class where they can get weekly coaching tips, techniques and insights, to better serve their lives and attainment of that ‘next level’ on their journey to their best self.
Have an awesome day!
I was recently asked in a seminar if our personalities are fixed. It was as a result of telling everyone that if we wanted to radically change our results from a health perspective we not only needed to change our lifestyles, but we needed to change our ‘personalities’.
So the question was asked: “Can we change our personalities?”
Well I am here to tell you that we can. This podcast is about what we need to do to change our personalities and I use the example of how someone who has a ‘shy personality’ can become someone that has a ‘confident personality’.
If we are a different person than of course we will get different results. But how do we take theory into practice? Well you will have to listen to find out how. Just know for now that it is definitely possible.
As always, feel free to ask me questions, which I will answer directly. Just head over to my website http://carlmassy.com and jump on my Facebook page, or contact me directly. Plus while you are at it, sign up for my weekly Happiness Tips Newsletter.
Have an awesome day and journey on the way to your best self.
Are we more or less connected these days? That is a very valid and pertinent question to be asking these days. If the technology of Facebook and Twitter and WhatsApp, etc. has increased the level of connection we have with people, do we feel more ‘connected’?
This the question I address in this Happiness Class and I also consider the idea of loneliness – which I consider through my observation to be quite prevalent in this apparently very connected wotld.
I will share with you a remarkably simple technique I have been using of late to increase the level of connection I feel in the moment and which tends to have a lingering impact.
What to know what it is?
