I hope you are well.
In today’s podcast I delve into the realms of leadership, and in particular what constitutes true leadership.
I actually was feeling some resistance to talking on this subject and taking a stance, but as true leadership dictates, feeling comfortable is not one of the predominant by-products of exercising true leadership.
I also talk about the stress response, the autonomic nervous system, the different levels of mind, trauma and even the topical subject of ‘cognitive dissonance’.
I come from the perspective of a former army major, a coach, a therapist who has worked with people with trauma, and someone fascinated with the evolutionary path.
If you want to ask me deeper questions or work with me, then reach out via my website.
And please join me for my online LIFE MASTERCLASS seminar happening 27-29 Nov 2020. And if you listen to the end of the podcast you will also hear how to get a MASSIVE 20% Discount on your ticket.
Have a super fabulous day and take care.
I hope you are having a great day.
In this Podcast I talk about the importance of embracing discomfort in order to experience the level of success and greatness that you are capable of.
I feel it is highly unlikely for you to reach your full potential if you step back from discomfort. Discomfort is on the path to Success, and in many cases discomfort is the stepping stones to the next level of your success and evolution.
I also talk about the difference between ‘pain’ and ‘discomfort’ which is important to fully understand.
As always if this was of value to you, please consider sharing it on your social media platforms. And if you want to ask me questions directly or work with me, reach out via my website.
NEWS FLASH: I am also excited to announce that at the end of November I will be running my LIFE MASTERCLASS seminar online, so make sure you check out the details for that and stay tuned in…it will be EPIC!!!
Have a super fabulous day and take care.
Today’s podcast is a self coaching technique, which includes some topics I have talked about in the past, in order to thrive in life.
Too often we have a ‘bad’ experience – relationship breakdown, professional set-backs, failed business or project, an accident or illness – and we try and leave the scene of the incident as quickly as possible because of our discomfort from it.
Too often we don’t take all the potential lessons from that experience in order to ‘learn and grow’.
So today I am encouraging you again, to take the time to look at and review past experiences, with a sense of curiosity and see what you can learn from them, so they are not only a stepping stone to your next level of success, but they are actually a springboard, catapulting you into an even higher level of success.
Let me know if you need a hand or support with the process, because you cannot get into the right mindset for it, or you are overwhelmed with fear or survival emotions. I would be more than happy to help out. Just send me an email.
I hope you enjoy the self coaching tip today.

I think you might agree with me that 2020 has been a bit of a crazy year (and then some!).
So I recorded this podcast at the end of September, to challenge you to consider what are the ESSENTIAL goals you want to tick off between now and the end of 2020.
What do you want to have achieve as you stand there on 31 December 2020?
What do you need to get done over the next few months?
I also share at the end a pretty cool strategy I came up with for one of my clients, just before I recorded this podcast.
I hope you enjoy listening and if you find my tips practical, maybe you could pass on my podcasts to friends and family. I would be very grateful.
Have a fabulous day wherever you are on the planet.
One of my favourite books I have written, and the one people have found most impactful is called ‘The Guidebook to Authentic Success’.
I teach about not only how to increase your success, but how to do to do it in a way that is deeply effective. You want to feel successful all the way down to your bones.
Hence the focus on ‘authentic’ success, as opposed to an experience of success that is linked to a bank account. Someone can be very wealthy but miserable. Is that success? I think not.
This Life Masterclass episode is the first of 3 parts where I will go through the 8-Pillars I believable are essential for experiencing a deeper sense of success in this game called life.
‘The Guidebook to Authentic Success’ is available on Amazon – in paperback and on Kindle. Also if you want to read a sample of the book, you can go to my website (https://www.carlmassy.com/) and click on the BOOKS tab.
If you want to do any work with me on turning the volume up on your authentic SUCCESS, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Have a super fabulous day.
If you are interested in the subject of your evolution then this is the podcast for you.
This is also the first Podcast I have done after a bit of time away, so I have also changed the name of the podcast from The Happiness Class, to LIFE MASTERCLASS. Happiness will still be a major theme, but also I will focus on health, vitality, success, joy, peace and fulfillment.
In this podcast I integrate traditional and modern teachings to help us understand how we can be more intentional about our lives and how we can participate in our own evolution.
This is going to wake you up to the difference between ego-based living and love-based living and help you to understand what the difference is, the impact on this difference and how to change.
This is about helping you to evolve into the best expression of yourself and contribute to the positive evolution of this place called planet earth.
Enjoy and I look forward to experience more of your love-based living in the world. And sign up to my Newsletter so you can stay informed of where and when my LIFE MASTERCLASS Seminars will be happening.
Have a super awesome day!
Knowing when to say YES and when to say NO is not only essential to the Richard Branson’s and Warren Buffet’s of the world, but is HUGELY important for each and every one of us.
In this episode of The Happiness Class we not only look out how best to make the decisions for a YES or NO, but I talk about ‘why’ we might have a challenge saying ‘No’ and what to do about this.
In my experience, as much fun as the movie ‘Yes Man’ with Jim Carrey is, it is often the things we don’t say ‘No’ too, that have the biggest impact on our lives. That is because for most of us, it is easier to say yes than to say no, especially to the personal stuff. We are more worried of upsetting the other person than protecting our precious time on this planet.
So this Happiness Class is a must for us all.
I hope you listen, understand the impact, and then APPLY it, as it will change the quality of your life.

Recently I headed across to Singapore (from Bali) to attend a Tony Robbins seminar called Total Success.
The last time I had attended one of his events it was back in 2007 – so I was keen to check out what he had to say, and to be reminded of a bunch of things I already knew, but was not applying as effectively as possible.
So I have taken the Top 5 Tips and insights that stood out for me over the two days and am sharing them here with you, plus a bit of my spin and experience with them.
My favourite is that Success is 80% Psychology and 20% Mechanics. I love that! So true! And I tell you why, and what to do with this golden nugget.
So tune in to hear what one of the best success Coaches on the planet has to say about getting ahead or to the next level.
As always, if you have any questions for me, make sure you ask. Just duck across to http://carlmassy.com and drop me a message. I would love to hear from you.
Have an awesome day!!
I have had a number of clients of late, doing one of my coaching programs (the 30-Day Happiness Challenge), that have told me that they want to have more confidence.
Since I am a lover of thinking, I decided to direct my attention to figuring out more about confidence. What is confidence? Where does it come from? Is there something or anything that precedes it? Do you have it or not? Are you born with it or can it be taught?
So this weeks Happiness Class is all about understanding more about Confidence and what are the conditions that will create more Confidence for yourself. And what are your Beliefs; when it comes to Confidence.
You are going to love what I have found. Because there is hope for us all. Regardless of how we came into this world. You will also learn a four-letter word that is essential for successfully gaining more confidence.
So here’s to building up our Confidence!
Have a great day.
PS: As always if you want to ask we questions just head over to my Facebook Page or jump on carlmassy.com to ask me more.
Do you live in a field of possibility? Do opportunities come to you often? Do you really tap into your full creative potential to create the life you want?
Today’s Happiness Class was inspired by some recent Coaching sessions I have had with clients, where they reduced their opportunities because of what they were (or weren’t looking for).
So today I wanted to explain this common ‘trap’ to you and what simple strategies you can use (right now) to change what you see and change the results you get.
And if you have any questions after it just post it or message me separately on my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CarlMassyPage).
Have an awesome day.
