Today’s podcast episode is the first of a monthly offering which I am called ‘Self-Coaching Strategies’. These strategies are simple things that you can apply into your day and life that will cause you to get new (and of course better!!) results in your life.
This first self-coaching offering is about realising that the way we look at something, the way that we perceive it, or the lens of perception we are looking through creates a certain internal experience. Different lenses give us a different experience, such as joy, frustration, awe, annoyance, etc.
So with this simple strategy it takes from experiencing a heavy sense of being, to a much lighter and playful sense of being. Does feeling lighter sound like something you would want more of?
I sure would!

On our amazing MindBody Detox Retreat in Majorca and one of the topics we have been reviewing is the idea of ‘non-attachment’. Something that comes up particularly in Buddhism as a life practice.
It is an amazing concept and as you will find out in this podcast, it has a significant impact on your levels of happiness. So it is a practice I really want you to understand – so your happiness is not controlled by something external of yourself that you don’t control.
