Are you Using the Right Metric to Measure Your Success

This podcast episode is inspired by a client I was having a coaching session with yesterday. She is an elite athlete, and Olympic Gold medalist and we were talking about a new project of hers, which she is super excited about.

And in the discussion we got to talking about ‘money’ and the measure of success in her new project.

I think people understand at an ‘intellectual’ level that money is not the only or even best measure of success, but it is harder to integrate that intellectual knowing.

So I talk about what are the other measures of success, and why me might be getting called to pay more attention to them now (in 2021) and less attention to the measure of money.

It aligns with the essence of my 3rd book – The Guidebook to Authentic Success‘.

Life is For Us (and Not Against Us)

I was recently doing a little getaway in Bali, and went to a gorgeous green abundant area called Sideman. I wanted to connect with the abundant plant-life, the sun, the silence and the beautiful sacred air I got to breathe.

While I was there I was inspired to record this podcast to remind us about our sacred relationship with this planet and what I refer to as mother nature.

And to start reestablishing our relationship with nature as not something to fear, to hide from, or mask ourselves from, but to something that is there to help us thrive (just like all the other species on the planet).

Life is for you. And life is for me. And it provides all of the building blocks to keep us happy, healthy and vital. Breathe deeply of this sacred breath.

Guided Meditation: Reconnecting with Nature

As you know, I am a fan of doing the inner work – especially in altered states of consciousness – in order to effect lasting change from the inside out.

I have watched over 2020, nature be vilified, where people are consciously and unconsciously encouraged to fear taking a deep breathe from mother nature. A fear of nature at an unconscious level is going to affect the way you show up.

So this guided meditation is about bringing back the sacred relationship we have with Mother Nature and reconnect with the idea that ‘life’ is for us. Life creates more life. It is nature that gives us life, so instead of fear we need deep gratitude and re-connection at a deeper (cellular) level.

Guided Meditation: Relax and Release (That Which does not Serve You)

Today’s episode is one of my favourites, as I love helping you with the inner work. Creating peace, harmony, and joy from the inside out.

When we do the inner work it changes our perception and interrelationship with the outside world and everything in it. If we see through a different lens of perception, we see a different worldview. One that causes us to feel awe, wonder, and love for life.

Today’s guided meditation is a bit over 20 mins long, and is focused on relaxing and releasing anything and everything that no longer serves you.

You will feel lighter and brighter after this meditation, but don’t take my work for it, see for yourself.

Guided Meditation: Fanning the Flames of Courage

This weeks LIFE MASTERCLASS Podcast is the monthly Guided Meditation.

The aim (for me) for a guided meditation is to bring the right messages into my mind, at a deeper level. Because the meditation helps you to deeply relax, you also relax the part of your mind which is more critical, more judging, and less flexible.

This months guided meditation is called ‘fanning the flames of courage’ as I believe it is with courage that we can actually create and design a life that is in alignment with our desires and of our choosing.

For me COURAGE trumps confidence every time.

The more courage you can draw on, and dip into, the more unstoppable you become. It allows you to break through other peoples limitations on you, to step into the unknown, to create something you have never created before and to truly live life on your terms.

The problem is that most people don’t know about the power that resides within their hands and within their reach.
