Have you ever had a question in life that you always wanted to ask, but didn't know who to ask? Perhaps you just want a second (non-biased) opinion. Then look no further.
Below are five questions chosen from last month and their respective answers. If you want to post your question then just enter it on the left of the page. If the question is on a topic a lot of people are asking about, it might even feature as an article in my blog!!

I have always lacked due 'patience' in my life - with people, situations and my own performances at times. How can I better control and increase my patience in order to create a more relaxed and understanding 'me'?
( Lu )Allow me to digress. Life is full of opposites. Based on the Law of Polarity. Hot, cold, night, day, black, white, open, closed. But between all of these opposites is a vast range of other variables or possibilities. Two opposites that exist are 'being' and 'doing'. You might think of being as sitting in the lotus pose meditating and doing as action woman bouncing off walls. If we are too much of one without experiencing the other our life feels out of balance. Life is best experienced by oscillating between the two. So in the case of patience, it might relate more to your belief about what you 'should' be doing or achieving at any particular time. Perhaps your expectations of what you 'should' achieve need to be reviewed and relaxed.
The feeling of impatience, frustration, anxiousness, or the likes; is just a message. It is telling you that perhaps you need to change your expectations (of what you think you should be achieving) OR change how you are going about dealing with a situation, person or yourself. I would suggest that you loosen up your belief on what you think you should be doing; because there are no 'shoulds' in life. There is just what you decided to buy into.
Practical strategies:
1. reduce your expectations on yourself and others (as opposed to trying to increase patience)
2. be ok with ok
3. relaxing comes from letting go (being), as opposed to controlling (doing)
4. move to Asia - you either learn to chill out or you implode ;-)
5. there are no 'shoulds' - just what you choose to accept
6. and finally, accept things for what they are - not what you want them to be
My question is what are the 5 tops things to do to ensure you get what you want?
( Steven )This is just my opinion for the top five, but it would have to include:
1. Express gratitude for all that you have already
2. Have a very clear vision for what you want - in as much detail as possible
3. Maintain that vision or see that vision regularly
4. Take actions to bring that thing into the physical world
5. Have faith that your vision will be realised
I hear lots of different stories about milk and whether we need it or not or in what quantities. What are your thoughts?
( Michelle )
Well. Where to start? Let me just summarise a few key points:
1. The biggest animals on the planet (with the biggest bones), stop drinking milk after they are naturally weaned off it. Like every other animal on the planet.
2. Cows eat greens to produce milk - so let's cut out the middle man and just eat more calcium rich foods.
3. I read once that the glass of milk a day campaign was started at the same time that there was a massive surplus of milk in the USA...which sounds a little too coincidental to me.
4. Our bodies are not designed to efficiently break down dairy milk.
5. I think water is best (as agreed to by the rest of the animal kingdom) and milk should be consumed as a condiment or as a treat for the odd occasion.
So for me. Milk and dairy is not a must food and should not really be a big part of the food pyramid (which was consequently designed by the food industry)
I have heard that meditation is great for you, but I can not really get into it. Do you have any suggestions?
( Tom )The best way to learn about meditation is to have someone who is already familiar with it show you how. Though, that can still be quick difficult to pick up. I have tried a number of methods over the years, but in the last few months I have discovered something that works really well for me (and 1000's of others). It is called Holosync meditation and is the merging of the Eastern meditation with Western technology. Essentially you listen to sounds that allow you to get into very deep states of meditation. Something that would normally take many years to accomplish. Check out: www.centerpointe.com for more details.
